Basically the Star Trek fact files from the mid 90s in a lovely great thick book, with brand new added Discovery pike content keeping with the original Illustrated artwork format I fully welcome these great books due to the fact files being over 17 binders thick, these books save so much space.Yea they reuse the original content but being in individual books per ship makes it a lot

Brilliant it s very good as a trekkie I was wondering how they would get a round discovery enterprise, but but and miss in one or two areas or simply wrong and I m coming to kicks chair as they explain their uses or didn t they see the episode where Kirk was in trial for dinners death. Some of the explanations for the buttons were pure nonsense that s the only drawbackIt s a beautiful book

I am Korea s first Star Trek professor, and I was recently profiled in Star Trek The Official Magazine Summer 2019 Hopefully that gives me some credibility I loved the artwork in this book and wish I had received it as a Christmas or birthday gift It is an exceptional book, one of my favourite Star Trek books of all time, and I would have given it 5 stars if they hadn t included Star Trek Discovery, a programme that I cannot stand If you re a fan of classic Tr

PROS Quality printing and paper Adequately organized.CONS Virtually all previously released content Not very thrilling unless it s your first exposure to a tech manual type tie in.As is acknowledged in the Acknowledgements, apart from the few pages on the Discovery era all of the material in this book illustrations and descriptions was previously serially published in the Star Trek Fact Files and in a monthly feature of the prestige format Star Trek magazine that exis

What an absolutely exceptional book of detail and design I love the isometric illustrations in this book, as I feel it appropriately gives the references better view and scope of design reference.I was thrilled to read about the inclusion of the Enterprise year 2257 from the Discovery television series Where the Enterprise D Illustrated Handbook had the Discovery series Enterprise almost the same size as an Excelsior class vessel, the publisher has accurately reflected real

I did not know that the Enterprise bridge from Discovery would be included I was mostly interested in the Enterprise from Star Trek The Motion Picture onwards and that there would be, at least, artist renderings of parts of the ship that are theoretically there but we ve never gotten to see It looks like I ll need to wait for the computer virtual tours to become available to get that.

I m almost finished this book It was a neat idea to review all versions of the April Pike Kirk Enterprises, but holy Horta Poop it s full of errors Not just fanboy interpretation errors, but actual errors like getting Scotty s name and rank wrong and leaving out important pieces of equipiment while having a lot of pages about stuff that never made it onto the screen It s obvious that the publishers did not have Mike Okuda involved with this book He would have caught these problems.
