Great story with well developed characters I am a fan of the Frontline series but this new one is exceptional The different perspectives, how lines start to merge and personalities develop, all combined with excellent space and military content, is exceptional The idea of the story is also quite new and i

Multiple main characters in different plot threads kick off a new promising series. While the narration is kept interesting by Kloos likeable style, the switching between characters made Book 1 appear a little short I enjoyed nearly 100% of it and simply wish for the next book to be released.

It seems the sole purpose of the book was to set up a sequel That s it The entire story is nothing than character introduction and reporting events related to a war from 5 years ago that lead absolutely nowhere No plot, no climax, just a lead up tonothing My guess is that the next installment will further develop the characters, possibly even establish a plot, but e

I am in two minds about this book, half way through On the one hand, it is entertaining, and keeping me interested I constantly want to pick it up and read I am interested in the characters well, most of them , and want to see what happens to them On the flip side, as far as I can work out, the book is set about a thousand years in the future around a different star system Y

This is the first book in a new series The Palladium Wars and so you shouldn t be too surprised to find that it really only introduces us to the main characters, and partly the main plotline, with some action and such like thrown in.The story takes place a few years after one planet loses a war that it has started against the others in an alliance, and those who served in the notoriou

An apt title why, well because nothing really happens right up to the abrupt end of volume 1 of 3.It is well written and flows smoothly introducing the cast of characters, the world weary ex internee intiligence officer, the battle hardened soldier reduced to police duties on a conquered advereries militaristic planet, the genius liberal right on teen daughter inheritor of a multinational comp

I chose this as my Kindle First Read book because it is science fiction However maybe I should have taken a bit longer to think about it as I did not realise the story is in two parts and you need book 2 as well to make it a good read.So well written, the other worlds explained in a way which made sense, good background to the storyline But this book finishes before the actual story really starts, henc

I was so pleased to see this on offer as a First Read because the author s Frontlines series is excellent and I was suffering withdrawal symptoms This is the first in a new series and it follows four seemingly unconnected characters As a result there isn t a satisfying finale, but enough questions and suspicions have been raised for me to immediately try to purchase the next in the series How frustrating to fin
